She then moved to the United States where she completed the ECFVG program for foreign veterinarians and then attended Oregon State University for her Veterinary Degree. She has been practicing in the Waterbury area for the last six years before coming to Stratford. She would like to mainly focus the practice on wellness and preventative care, dermatology and animal behavior. She consistently attends continuing education events to keep up with the newest trends in veterinary medicine. She currently resides in Trumbull with her husband and two children. When Dr. Giuliani is not working, she enjoys swimming, running, reading and traveling. She would like to thank her pets Giulia, Nanna, Kiara, Gaia, Ty, Ramen, and Noodle for all of their inspiration and love over the years. Their presence in her life helped her put aside her pet allergies and commit to a life of veterinary service! WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM ALSO!!!

Debbie, Certified Veterinary Technician

Debbie graduated from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford more years ago than she cares to remember, but Dr. Giuliani is always the first one to point out that Debbie is "young at heart." Shortly after graduating college, she realized her true passion is working with animals and began working at veterinary hospitals. Many years later, she went back to college and became a certified technician. She still loves the job as much as she did on her first day. Debbie has 2 dogs, Cappuccino and Cocoa, and 2 cats, Matilda and Tobey, that allow her and her husband and daughter to live with them. When not working, you can find Debbie at home reading a good book or enjoying a Hallmark movie.

.

Jen, Technician

Jen graduated from Unity College in Maine with a B.S. in Captive Wildlife Care and Education. She joined The Pet Hospital in 2013 and quickly fit right in! She has a certificate in Companion Animal Laser Therapy through AIMLA. She has also been trained to ultrasound, has been practicing her scanning, and is going to echocardiogram training this year. She has four cats and will talk to anyone who will listen about them. Jen loves the outdoors and any activity that can be done outside! She also loves crafting, and makes her own soap and bath bombs.

.

Mallory, Technician

Mallory graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2007 with a B.S. in Animal Science. She began her career in the veterinary field shortly after and started with The Pet Hospital of Stratford in 2015. She has a certificate in Companion Animal Laser Therapy through AIMLA. When she's not at work helping her furry patients feel better, you can find her running around with her two kids, training for a new race, or seeking out new adventures with her husband, family, and friends. Tito, her cat, is cool too.

.

Gigi, Technician

Gigi joined the PHS family in April 2019, and has been working with animals well over 10 years. She is Fear-Free Certified, speaks Spanish and is currently working on her BA in Animal Science. Gigi has five pets; 2 dogs, 2 cats and a rat who are the center of her world. When she’s not working, she spends her time playing video games for charity raising funds for animal rescues and LGBTQIA+ organizations. A strong advocate for mental health, she is dedicated to making a difference for both animals and humans alike.

. Avery, Technician

Avery joined our team in May of 2023 and has worked with animals since 2021! She recently graduated from the University of Maryland this past May with a B.S. in Animal Science and hopes to continue her education to become a veterinarian. During her time at Maryland, she was a student manager for the Women's Basketball Team and worked as a research assistant in a lab studying avian communication. Avery has two dogs, Mabel and Forrest, whom she loves to dress up. In her spare time, Avery can be found thrifting, playing lacrosse, or traveling with her friends.

.

Jennifer joined our team in January, 2022 and has been involved in animal rescue since the pandemic. She is currently studying at the University of Bridgeport in hopes of furthering her education and staying in the veterinary field. .

Phoenix, Hospital Cat

Phoenix joined our staff in September of 2019. She came to us very sick, but Dr. Giuliani worked her magic, and she has been happy and healthy since! Phoenix has made herself quite at home here. She loves pushing all our papers off the desks, chasing birds and butterflies in the window of our front desk, and watching over the lobby from the upstairs loft. You'll find her toys down the hallways of the office. She loves attention and a good chin scratch.
